I am the terror that flaps in the night, I am the plot twist in the second reel

I’m a 23 year old librarian who’s a nut for animation. This includes the anime/manga formats from Japan, American comics (which I’m slowly delving into), the CG of Pixar studios, and the classics from Disney.

This blog will focusing on the above animation formats and my various readings/watchings in those fields.

If you’d like an idea of some of my favorites, here’s an idea:

Favorite Mangaka: Takahashi Rumiko. This woman is the princess of manga for a reason, and if you haven’t read her works ( InuYasha, Urusei Yatsura, One Pound Gospel, Maison Ikkoku, Ranma 1/2, Mermaid Saga, Rumic World/Theater) - you should. Like now.

Favorite Anime: The Slayers, Princess Tutu, Gundam Seed/Destiny, Outlaw Star, Gankutsuou, Mahou Tsukai Tai, Juuni Kokki, Fullmetal Panic, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Mushishi, Hare + Guu, Gensoumaden Saiyuki, Matantei Loki Ragnarok, Chrno Crusade, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Pumpkin Scissors, Spiral ~Suiri no Kizuna~.

Favorite American Cartoons: Hey Arnold!, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Powerpuff Girls, Darkwing Duck, Ducktales, Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, Tale Spin, Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, Batman: The Animated Series.

 Favorite Comics: Spiderman Loves Mary Jane, Batman.

Favorite Animated Movies: Anything Miyazaki, anything Pixar, Disney’s Hercules, Mulan, Tarzan, Lilo and Stitch, The Emperor’s New Groove, Robin Hood, Lady and the Tramp, The Great Mouse Detective, Oliver and Company, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Pochantas, Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
